Your Responsibilities As Cloud Data Architect, you will: Serve as a subject matter expert in cloud data architecture and management, contributing best practices across the organization. Design technical architectures for data platforms and analytics solutions in Azure, including data lakes, lakehouses, BI, and ML/AI. Lead architectural workshops with stakeholders and translate business requirements into scalable and secure cloud solutions. Support proof-of-concept development, prototyping, and MVPs for innovative technologies and use cases. Actively participate in project implementation and technical solution delivery. Document solutions, patterns, and standards to build a shared knowledge base. Continuously evaluate new technologies and trends within the cloud data ecosystem. Mentor and support team members, including junior architects and engineers. Requirements Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-grade data platforms, preferably on Microsoft Azure. Strong practical background in big data architecture using cloud services such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, ADLS Gen2, Cosmos DB, and others. Deep understanding of distributed data processing with tools like Apache Spark, Delta Lake, Hive, Flink, and streaming technologies (Kafka, EventHub, Flink). Proficiency in at least two programming languages such as Python, Scala, Java, Rust, or Go. Solid experience with SQL, data modeling, and performance tuning for distributed systems. Familiarity with DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and tools like Terraform and Azure DevOps. Strong understanding of cloud architecture trade-offs and best practices for scalable, cost-effective, and secure data infrastructure.
