Daikin Europe NV (DENV) is a subsidiary of Daikin Industries Limited, a Japanese outstanding company and worldwide the biggest developer, producer and supplier of HVAC-R (heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration) solutions, including heating pumps and cooling technology.
DENV is Daikin’s sales, R&D, and production headquarters for Europe, the Middle-East and Africa. The headquarter has Belgian offices in Brussels, Ghent and Ostend, as well as 8 production plants, 24 sales subsidiaries and offices and a whole network of independent distributors and dealers across the EMEA region.
The vacancy is in the Business Analytics Department.
Function
1. You will be involved in SAP roll-outs at our daughter companies. You will propose & implement changes to improve the controlling function within our group.
2. You will be promoting and supporting process improvement and standardization initiatives in the area of controlling and profitability analysis across Daikin Europe HQ and Entities.
3. You will discuss changes requested by the business and translate this, together with the IT Center, into SAP/PowerBI solutions.
4. You will be involved in the roll-out of Sales &Sales & Service software package at our daughter companies. During these projects, you will mainly focus on the interface with SAP for controlling functionalities, as well as the reporting track in PowerBI.
5. You work together with a wide range of stakeholders that all have different requirements, you are able to set priorities, manage expectations and communicate accordingly. Your ideas how to further improve our setup will created added value.
Your profile
6. You have a Master's degree in business economics, finance or controlling.
7. You already have extended experience in a similar role as controller or SAP key-user, or extended experience in an analytical position.
8. You have user experience of SAP modules SD, FI and CO.
9. You are prepared to travel abroad (15% of your time) and/or to the Oostkamp office (Accounting & IT) if projects or meetings require this.
10. You work accurate, have the ability to dig into the details without losing the helicopter view.
11. You possess excellent analytical skills and demonstrate good communication skills.
12. You are a team player but you’re also able to work independently.
13. You are result-driven with a strong focus on improvements.
