Aufgaben: As part of your master's thesis, you will work on the following topics: You will conduct in-depth research on specialized large language models (LLMs) in project environments related to railway signaling technology. The specialized LLMs include preliminary training as well as targeted fine-tuning to project-specific documentation, relevant standards, and specialized expertise. Furthermore, you will evaluate domain-specific LLMs from an end customer perspective in terms of delivery speed, operational efficiency, and project performance using quantitative and qualitative evaluation approaches. You will assess how the identified added value for customers can be converted into measurable value streams for Siemens Mobility and derive recommendations for the integration of LLM-based solutions into project execution Qualifikation: You are studying engineering, industrial engineering, economics, IT, or a related field. You are proficient in using common MS Office applications. You have knowledge of how AI applications work. You are familiar with the use of common AI programs (e.g., ChatGPT), including the use of large language models (LLMs). Very good written and spoken English skills round off your profile.
