Your role You will play a crucial role in shaping the future of the company's data governance, data compliance and policies, and enterprise data management initiatives, while also contributing to the success of ZEISS's digital transformation. In this role, you will join a team responsible for defining, implementing and ensuring a company-wide data governance framework. You will work closely with the Corporate Security & Data Protection Team to support our data governance roadmap, aligning it with the organization’s strategic priorities. Working closely with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, you will ensure clear communication and the consistent implementation of data-related standards. These responsibilities apply across the entire data supply chain, including data onboarding, enrichment, use and transfer. In doing so, your team will play a crucial role in rolling out ZEISS's global data strategy. You will define the cornerstones of a scalable data and analytics foundation to provide a superior customer experience, ensuring its organizational implementation alongside our business units. Together with your team and colleagues, you will develop our ability to keep up with digital innovation and ensure that decisions regarding the use of data are made in the interests of ZEISS and our customers. Your profile An excellent university degree in computer science, business informatics, mathematics, law w/ digital focus or in a related field Initial practical experience in project management, stakeholder management, or data-driven transformation projects Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate across departments Experience in structuring, documenting, and rolling out data-related processes ideally within larger organizations Graduates with practical experience whereas 1-2 years relevant professional experience is a plus Preferably experience in defining, documenting and implementing data governance best practices, policies & procedures in a large organization as well as experience in a regulated industry Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a solution-oriented mindset and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments Excellent English skills, German is recommended Your ZEISS Recruiting Team: Markus Repp
