Job Description
In your new role you will:
* Be a highly motivated, energetic and creative Systems Engineer with broad knowledge and experience to perform product definition and development on Gallium Nitride (GaN) Power Switches and Integrated Power Stage (IPS) for HV and LV automotive application
* Make use of your deep knowledge of various types of switching mode power supply topologies and controls
* Leverage your product experience with automotive power supplies, such as on-board charger, HV-LV DC/DC converter and 48V bus converter
* Apply extensive experience in GaN power switch, its driving circuit, and its value proposition in Automotive power supply systems
* Be hands-on with design, debug, and lab testing of power converters
* Understand magnetic component design for inductors and transformers
* Experience Infineon micro-controller and firmware development
Your Profile
As a Senior Staff Product Definition Engineer, you will commit yourself to the results of your own team and the company as a whole. Furthermore, you have a clear notion of how innovation contributes to the commercial success of the company. Lastly, you are able to quickly establish a successful cooperation.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
* Master's degree or Ph.D, preferred with working experience in power supply or semiconductor industries
* At least 5 years of experience in semiconductor product definition and/or applications engineering, and customer support is highly desired
* Experience in semiconductor design, packaging and qualifications is a plus
* Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in the organization from program management to IC design, marketing, FAE’s and sales to ensure companies success
* Effectively skills in multi-task, manage priorities and solve technical problems independently
* Self-motivated mindset, self-learning, and a good team player
* Good communication skills in both verbal and written English
