Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our client's HR team. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees across Germany, using SAP HCM or SAP SuccessFactors. You will act as a key liaison between HR, finance, and external service providers to ensure compliance with German labor, tax, and social security regulations. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end payroll processes using SAP for Germany-based employees, across multiple locations. Ensure payroll data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with legal requirements Coordinate with internal stakeholders (HRBP, Finance, Controlling) and external providers (e.g., tax authorities, Sozialversicherungsträger) Maintain payroll-relevant master data, including compensation, absences, bonuses, and benefits Process terminations, new hires, and other life-cycle events affecting payroll Support year-end payroll activities, including tax statements and audits Resolve employee queries related to salary, taxes, or deductions Contribute to payroll process optimization and support relevant HR projects Your Profile Completed commercial or HR-related education (e.g., Personalfachkaufmann/-frau, Bachelor in HR or Business Administration) Minimum 3 years of experience in payroll, preferably in a manufacturing or automotive environment Solid knowledge of German payroll legislation and collective labor agreements Hands-on experience with SAP HCM Payroll or SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll is essential Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under strict deadlines Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel Fluent German is mandatory; English proficiency is a plus What’s Offered Competitive compensation and benefits package Opportunity to work in a leading automotive company with cutting-edge technology Hybrid working model and flexible hours Supportive, international team environment Professional development and training opportunities
