Responsibilities:
Finance leadership role with Freudenberg Performance Materials (FPM) based at the headquarters in Weinheim, Germany. You lead the management reporting and forecasting for a globally active business group with divisions across multiple industries, partnering with senior leaders and driving modernization across reporting, processes, and systems.
1. Reporting & Forecasting: Lead the monthly management reporting and forecasting process, delivering transparency on key business drivers, ensuring high data quality and providing clear presentations for top management.
2. Analysis: Manage in-depth and ad-hoc analyses of business performance, delivering decision-ready insights to support our operational and strategic goals.
3. Planning: Drive the operative and strategic planning process across the group to shape the future direction and development of the business group.
4. Business Partnering: Closely cooperate with the Board of Management, senior management of divisions, and corporate functions by providing financial expertise. Act as the primary point of contact for the Freudenberg Group for all Controlling related topics.
5. Transformation & Project management: Contribute to key projects aiming at developing the business group (e.g. PMI).
6. Optimization: Continuously improve Controlling processes, tools and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy in business analysis.
Qualifications:
7. Education: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a comparable field.
8. Experience: 5+ years in group controlling or financial reporting within an international industrial environment.
9. Nice to have: Background in management consulting, Big 4 firm and/or controlling within a multinational manufacturing group.
10. Strong Systems Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, Management Information Systems (e.g. HFM).
11. Language: Fluency in English (written and spoken); German is a plus.
