Electronic Engineer – Harness Design (m/f/d)

Your Tasks
1. Design harness layouts for satellite systems based on predefined electrical architectures, ensuring compliance with mission requirements and relevant quality standards
2. Coordination of the harness design with other disciplines, including 3D routing, integration, thermal analysis, structural engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance
3. Plan and perform in-depth electrical analyses, including voltage drop, worst-case scenarios, and derating exercises to validate design performance
4. Prepare harness manufacturing documentation and integration procedures
5. Support proposal and tender phases by defining harness activities, drafting technical specifications, and providing accurate effort estimates
Your Qualifications
6. University degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
7. Several years of professional experience in harness design for space applications
8. Strong knowledge of space-specific processes and quality standards (, ECSS, MIL)
9. Proficiency in harness design tools, ideally Siemens CAPITAL Harness
10. Experienced in MS Project for resource planning and progress tracking
11. Excellent communication & teamwork skills, with a structured, resilient work style
12. Fluency in English required; German language skills are a plus
