You will harness data to drive our product innovation and improve client outcomes.Your contribution to our success In this role, you will…Data Strategy Development: Define and implement a data strategy aligned with re:cap's mission to provide cutting-edge funding solutions and automate financial operationsData Product Development: Build data products that are tightly integrated into our customer-facing applications together with our Engineering teamMachine Learning and AI Implementation: Manage the development and deployment of machine learning models and AI solutions to automate financial operations for our customers and generate insightsData Governance and Quality: Improve data quality processes and establish robust data governance frameworks to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with financial regulationsStrategic Guidance: Provide strategic guidance to founders and board members on data-related initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and market opportunitiesStakeholder Management: Engage with key stakeholders across the organization to understand their data needs and ensure that data initiatives support their objectivesTeam Leadership: Lead our teams of data engineers, data scientists, and financial data specialists to derive actionable insights that enhance product offerings and customer experiencesCross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with our Product, Engineering, and Commercial teams to integrate data solutions into our SaaS platform and funding productsWho we are looking for ️You have 8+ years of experience in data management, analytics or data science roles, with a focus on fintech or SaaSYou have 4+ years of leadership experience, preferable in a fast-growing environment, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making & scaling data teamsYou are proficient in data analytics with SQL and Python, with experience in DuckDB and Parquet being a plusYou have expertise in machine learning frameworks and know how to bring ML applications into productionYou can structure and optimize processes to measure and continuously enhance data quality and machine learning pipelinesYou have deep experience with modern data stack architectures, includingStorage: GBQ, Snowflake, Databricks, …Integration: Airbyte, Fivetran, …Transformation: dbtOrchestration: Dagster, Airflow, …You understand data architectures that can handle high-volume data pipelines and analyticsYou can translate complex data findings into actionable insights for diverse stakeholdersYou think strategically about data-driven financial solutions and SaaS applicationsYou have a good understanding of the fintech landscape, with a particular experience with funding solutions and SaaS being a plusYou are familiar with compliance considerations related to financial data and GDPRYou focus on driving business success through data initiativesYou are innovative and forward-thinking, with a passion for leveraging technology to enhance financial insightYou have a collaborative mindset and thrive in a dynamic startup environmentYou are fluent in English, German is a plusYou have a valid EU work permit and reside within the EU. re:cap does not offer visa or relocation support at the momentWhat you can expect ????Remote first.
