We’re looking for an experienced Safety Manager to lead site EHS activities on a large-scale, mission-critical construction programme. This role oversees the safety team, drives an Injury-Free culture, and ensures all contractors meet top-tier safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead all site EHS operations and manage the safety team
• Review and enforce project safety plans
• Conduct readiness reviews & Go/No-Go assessments
• Perform safety walks and support incident investigations
• Track leading/lagging indicators & manage safety data
• Coach contractors and promote proactive safety behaviour
Requirements
✔ Diploma/Degree in EHS or Occupational Safety
✔ 10+ years in construction safety leadership
✔ Experience on large industrial/mission-critical projects
✔ Strong understanding of German EHS regulations
✔ Proven ability to lead teams & influence safety culture
Preferred: high-tech or semiconductor project experience, equipment sign-off, DOSH green/yellow book or equivalent.
