TELUS Health has recently expanded our European presence through the strategic acquisitions of Humanoo and Human and Work in Germany. This integration brings together two dynamic sales teams under one vision, strengthening our position in the EMEA wellbeing market.
The Role:
We’re seeking a Sales Director to lead and unify our sales force of 10 Business Development Managers/Directors across Germany, reporting to the Senior Sales Director in the UK. This pivotal leadership role involves integrating our teams and driving revenue growth in the German market. The role is hybrid, based in Berlin or Hamburg.
As a leader, you will be responsible for revenue generation through new logos and partnerships, cultivating existing relationships for upsell opportunities. You will foster a culture of continuous learning, performance management, and coaching within the Business Development team.
You will establish processes and structures for lead generation, sales pipelines, and new business sourcing. Building and nurturing strategic relationships with top-tier consultants, key channel alliances, and customers will support our revenue growth and establish TELUS Health as a top player in the EMEA wellbeing market.
As a Sales Director you will:
* Assign team growth targets and develop strategies
* Lead and integrate diverse teams, fostering an inclusive culture
* Track goals and review business metrics
* Present performance results to leadership
* Implement training and best practices
* Partner with Customer Success for upsell targets
* Serve as leadership sponsor for critical accounts
* Collaborate on market growth strategies with EMEA leaders
* Support retention and pipeline development from top-tier consultants
What You Bring:
* 5-7 years experience managing EMEA sales teams
* Fluency in German and English
* Experience managing multicultural teams, post-merger integration is a plus
* Experience in health, mental health, wellbeing, or employee support services is a plus
* Proven operations leadership and client partnership skills
* Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
* University degree or relevant experience in Business
