Job Description
Position: Technical support Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Sales Support
o Work closely with the sales team to analyze customer requirements and propose tailored technical solutions that drive sales success.
o Present and demonstrate technical solutions to customers, addressing their needs and concerns effectively.
2. Solution Design and Optimization
o Develop and refine technical solutions based on customer requirements, ensuring they align with market trends and competitive landscape.
o Provide technical insights that enhance the value proposition of the company’s products.
3. Customer Engagement & Pre-Sales Consultation
o Act as a technical advisor for customers, helping them understand product capabilities and how they meet business needs.
o Assist in preparing technical proposals, RFQs, and presentations for customer discussions.
4. Product and Technology Feedback
o Gather customer feedback on product performance and suggest localized improvements to increase customer satisfaction.
o Work with the R&D and product teams to refine solutions based on market demands.
5. Technical Partnership Management
o Establish and maintain strong relationships with local technical partners, distributors, and service providers to support business expansion.
Credential Requirements:
1. Educational Background
o Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Energy Management, Automation, or a related engineering field.
2. Professional Experience
o Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical sales, pre-sales engineering, or solution development.
o Experience in energy storage, renewable energy, or related fields is highly preferred.
o Prior engagement with European clients is a plus.
3. Technical Knowledge & Skills
o Strong understanding of energy storage technologies, EMS architecture, and grid integration.
o Familiarity with power electronics, system simulation tools (e.g., PSCAD), and electricity market mechanisms (e.g., dynamic pricing, FCR bidding) is an advantage.
o Ability to translate technical concepts into commercial value for customers.
4. Sales & Communication Skills
o Excellent customer engagement and communication skills, capable of articulating technical solutions in a business context.
o Strong problem-solving skills and ability to independently craft and optimize technical proposals.
5. Language & Additional Requirements
o Fluency in German & English is required; proficiency in additional European languages (e.g., French, Italian) is a plus.
o Strong sense of technical ownership and a customer-oriented mindset.
