1. Student in Space Engineering, Aerospace Engineering (M.Sc.) or similar
2. Understanding of the rocket engine design process and its subsystems
3. Understanding of physics, fluid dynamics, manufacturing processes, rocket engine/propulsion systems
4. Understanding of manufacturing methods of rocket engine components
5. Understanding of development and operation of test stands
6. Proactive thinking, high level of motivation, flexibility, and team-working skills
7. Proficiency in both German and English
8. Knowledge of Creo, Matlab, Ecosimpro, Ansys Fluent & Mechanical
9. Prior experience with hardware, testing, qualification and certification
10. Work experience in a start-up environment

Your mission
11. Design and development of rocket engine subsystems and components
12. Translation of system requirements into subsystem and component designs
13. Performance of system-level and component-level trade studies
14. Perform analytical results (performance, thermal, structural, fluid)
15. Development and operation of test infrastructure
16. Support of engine integration, assembly, and test campaigns, including anomaly resolution
17. Close collaboration with design, analysis and manufacturing
18. Communication with suppliers on manufacturability, materials, and design requirements
