In the framework of an organized succession (Prof. Dr. Volker Heßelmann) we are looking for an Chefarzt (w/m/d) der Neuroradiologie in full-time immediately. For our forward‑looking, powerful and regionally recognized clinic you will take a responsible key position with great scope for shaping. You will bear the overall medical, strategic and organisational responsibility for neuroradiology and will shape its content, structure and economic development decisively.
IHR AUFGABENGEBIET
* Overall responsibility for the chief‑medical leadership of the neuroradiology department at Asklepios Nord with a clear focus on excellent patient care, medical excellence and economically sustainable structures
* Active and shaping participation in the cross‑site leadership group Neuroradiology (ZERN) with strategic responsibility for the clinical, organisational and economic further development of the department
* Independent execution of the full interventional‑neuroradiological service spectrum of the cerebral feeding vessels, especially complex vessel‑opening and vessel‑closing procedures (e.g. mechanical thrombectomy, embolisation of aneurysms, AVM and DAVF)
* Participation in the cross‑site neuroradiological on‑call duty to ensure highly qualified 24/7 care
* Strategic management and active co‑design of clinical training and further education, including certification according to DeGIR/DGNR (Level 2, Module E and F) and specialisation in neuroradiology
* Active engagement in clinical‑scientific projects and in academic teaching in cooperation with Asklepios Medical School (Semmelweis Universität) and the University of Hamburg
IHR PROFIL
* Recognised as a specialist physician in radiology with a focus on neuroradiology and ownership of the DeGIR/DGNR Level 2, Module E and F certificates
* Strong and demonstrable leadership competence in a leading role
* Experience in clinical and university training, especially in cooperation with partner universities (e.g. Hamburg and Asklepios Medical School/Semmelweis Universität)
* High commitment to the strategic and clinical further development of the neuroradiology field within the Center for Radiology and Neuroradiology of Asklepios Kliniken Hamburg
* Presence of a habilitation or professorship desirable, but not mandatory
* Motivating, appreciative and socially competent leadership style in dealing with patients, employees and out‑of‑hospital colleagues from other clinics
* Impulse generator for innovative treatment concepts, modern imaging and interventional procedures
