Senior compliance officer (rc) - aifm

Your Responsibilities

Execute AML/CFT procedures, including KYC/CDD checks, STR/SAR filing, risk assessments, and monitoring measures as per CSSF Circular 12-02 and the 2004 AML Law on the fund’s activity.
Validate AML controls performed by administrators and custodians, ensuring compliance with respective requirements.
Perform initial and ongoing due diligence on Private Debt/Equity investments, analysing complex fund structures and applying look-through exercises (e.g., where applicable on borrowers, securitizations, collaterals, etc.).
Monitor AML risks tied to the Fund’s activity and risk – classify asset types, including covenant monitoring and cash flow analysis where applicable.
Prepare quarterly AML/CFT reports for the Fund’s Board of Managers and Conducting Officers; liaise with authorities on potential regulatory filings.
Support internal/external audits and regulatory inspections, ensuring accurate record-keeping for board minutes and compliance registers.
Collaborate closely with the appointed AIFM RC on cross-functional tasks (e.g., supervision of delegates, Fund-specific regulatory updates, AML/CFT and risk-related subjects).
Deliver AML/CFT training to staff and the Board, focusing on Luxembourg’s regulatory framework and internal governance.
Review Prospectus disclosures and investor notifications for regulatory alignment.

Your Profile

3+ years in fund compliance (AML/CFT) for Private Debt/Equity structures, managing transactions and asset due diligence.
Strong knowledge of the CSSF Circular 12-02 and of the 2004 AML Law.
Strong analytical skills for complex setups (e.g., Fund of Funds, Private Debt/Equity).
Fluency in English; German, French, or other languages advantageous.
Proficiency in compliance tools (e.g., World-Check, Carol) and Microsoft Office.
