Job Description
The Medical Science Liaison is responsible for driving country medical activities in alignment with regional initiatives and the Global Medical Plan. This role involves proactively managing medical scientific stakeholders, creating value for patients through stakeholder engagement, scientific projects, and communications.
This position reports to the Associate Director Medical Science Liaison.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify, develop, and maintain collaborative relationships with KOLs, scientific experts, and other stakeholders.
* Prepare and deliver high-quality medical and scientific communications aligned with communication plans.
* Create and implement stakeholder engagement plans following Sobi’s standards.
* Support local medical tactics and contribute to regional and HQ plans.
* Organize scientific advisory boards with key stakeholders.
* Contribute to local and regional medical activities.
* Provide feedback to HQ on business development due diligence.
* Support medical programs pre-launch.
* Coordinate Investigator Sponsored Studies and medical information inquiries.
* Represent Sobi at congresses and symposia.
* Engage with scientific societies and decision makers.
* Advise on medical and legal matters.
* Stay updated on therapeutic trends and knowledge.
Qualifications
* University degree in medical/science or relevant field
* At least 3 years of experience in a medical environment
* Experience in medical affairs, clinical science, or related areas
* Knowledge of hematology, oncology, immune thrombocytopenia, lymphoma
* Understanding of healthcare systems
* Experience with KOL management and account planning
* Located within the territory: München, Tübingen, Augsburg, Nürnberg, Regensburg, Ulm, Reutlingen, Würzburg, Bayreuth
Desired:
* Experience organizing advisory boards and symposia
* Developing scientific presentations and lectures
Skills / Knowledge / Languages
* Valid driver’s license
* Excellent communication skills in local language and English
* Proficiency with IT and Office software
