Optimize Trade Channel Success
This role seeks to maximize the effectiveness of the trade channel by driving consumer engagement and brand awareness. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive business growth through optimized customer interactions.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Create and implement annual targets for consumer and customer engagement in the trade channel.
* Develop and execute national activations and promotions for emerging brands, with a focus on Gin Mare and Botucal Rum.
* Lead external agencies on promotional projects and coordinate with key stakeholders.
* Maintain strong relationships with Off-Trade Key Account Team, Regional Field Force Managers, and Brand Management.
* Align with Finance on accurate accounting of activities.
* Provide regular reports on promotion efficiency and progress towards plan status.
* Establish and manage related A&P and COGS budgets for supervised brands.
* Develop sell-in stories, sales folders, and leaflets for standard and promotional SKUs.
* Sources, develops, and administers POS material for the Off-Trade channel.
* Supports the maintenance of Sales Reps supporting tool POS-Shop and coordinates inventory management.
* Collaborates with Consumer Insights and Sales teams to gain insights into the Off-Trade channel.
* Supports senior leadership in leading projects and workshops from the yearly strategy and business planning process.
* Works closely with Key Account group and Junior Trade Marketing Manager Off-Trade to align on and prioritize projects/topics.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Sales, or equivalent experience as an Off-Trade category/store manager.
* At least 2-3 years of experience in the Off-Trade channel, Trade Marketing, or Marketing.
* Strong knowledge of the German market, particularly in retail, consumer, and trade channels.
* Excellent marketing skills, including market analysis, strategy development, and consumer/shopper insights.
* Innovation development experience in activations, promotions, tools/POSM.
* Fluent German and good English language skills.
* Proficient in MS Office and Google applications.
* Excellent time management and prioritization abilities.
* Strong strategic comprehension and analytical acumen.
