Responsibilities
As a Working Student Release Manager, you will support our Release Management team in planning, coordinating, and improving software release processes across agile development teams. This role offers hands-on experience in software delivery, project coordination, and cross-team collaboration within a dynamic, international environment. You will gain valuable insights into the software development lifecycle, release management best practices, and agile methodologies in SaaS, on-premises and mobile releases.
1. Assist in coordinating and tracking software releases across multiple teams.
2. Support the preparation and communication of release plans, schedules, and status updates.
3. Help document release processes, best practices, and lessons learned.
4. Participate in meetings with development, QA, and product teams to align on release activities.
5. Contribute to the analysis of release metrics and preparation of reports and dashboards.
6. Support the identification and documentation of risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities.
7. Help maintain release management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps) and related documentation.
8. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for release processes and automation.
9. Support communication and coordination with stakeholders to help ensure expectations are clear and relationships are maintained.
Requirements
10. Enrolled student (all genders) at a university or college in the field of Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
11. Fluency in English is mandatory, further languages such as German are a plus
12. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in different areas of the company
13. Good analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
14. Experience in Python programming language
15. Experience with version control and build systems such as Git, Jenkins and Azure DevOps
16. Basic understanding in agile software development, project management, Jira and confluence is a plus

19. Our Working Students in Germany receive a monthly salary of €1,566 for a 20-hour/week contract, €1,253 for a 16-hour/week contract, and €1,400 for an internship position.
