Position: Asset Manager
Salary: Up to €85,000 plus bonus + benefits

Founded in 2016, our client is a full-service development management and investment business with offices in London, Paris and Berlin. Today the Company manages a 100+ asset portfolio totalling ~1.5 million square meters and c. €5bn of AUM.
The team of analysts and investment professionals relies on advanced financial modelling and deep market insight to make data-driven decisions. We are searching for an exceptional Investment Analyst, based in Berlin, to provide best-in-class financial modelling skills and analytical expertise.
About you:
* Minimum of 3–5 years of commercial real estate asset management or leasing experience, with hands-on exposure to DCF underwriting, LOI and lease negotiation, and financial statement analysis
* Comfortable presenting market analysis, deal rationale, and asset strategy recommendations to senior leadership and external investors
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and prioritise effectively
* Self-starter mentality – comfortable operating independently in a lean, entrepreneurial environment
* Industrial and logistics sector experience strongly preferred; candidates with a solid track record in other commercial asset classes (e.g. office, retail parks) will also be considered
* Exposure to capital expenditure planning or refurbishment projects is a plus
* Based in Berlin, with willingness to travel regularly to portfolio assets across Germany
* Experience managing or overseeing third-party service providers (property managers, facility managers, or similar)
* Fluent German (native or near-native) and strong professional English – you will work day-to-day in German but report and present in English
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint); familiarity with Argus or similar real estate software is a plus
* Valid driver’s licence required
About the role, main responsibilities include:
* As an Asset Manager, you will take ownership of a portfolio of German industrial and logistics assets, driving value through hands-on leasing, proactive occupier engagement, and close coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
* Driving rental income and NOI growth through leasing, rent reviews, and other asset management initiatives while managing relationships with internal teams and external capital partners
* Minimising vacancy by liaising with third-party leasing agents, sourcing occupiers, and closing lease transactions
* Negotiating new lettings end-to-end, from initial occupier interest through to signed agreement, and coordinating with external lawyers on lease documentation
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with the local brokerage community, municipal authorities, and prospective occupiers to promote Valor’s assets and brand presence in the German market
* Overseeing the creation and distribution of marketing materials for any current or upcoming vacancy
* Developing deep market knowledge – understanding location dynamics, product types, and supply and demand trends through regular site visits and competitive benchmarking
* Liaising and coordinating with internal and external teams including investments, finance, leasing, design, legal, sales and marketing throughout the deal lifecycle
* Reviewing and analysing various asset reports including accounting files, CapEx projections and monthly Rent Rolls
* Contributing to asset business plans, annual budgets, and quarterly financial reporting for investors
* Managing and holding accountable third-party property managers, ensuring service levels and reporting standards are met across the portfolio
* Supporting the oversight of capital expenditure and refurbishment projects, tracking budgets and timelines in coordination with the development team
