Join our Corporate Business Services (CBS) team within the Group CFO organization as Global Business Process Manager (m/f/d) Order-to-Cash at our headquarters in Mannheim or our location in Sofia (Bulgaria) or Vilnius (Lithuania). In this role you will support to develop and evaluate the processes and identify inconsistencies – globally – to meet the strategic objectives and to get a best practice approach.
Your Tasks
1. Analyze and improve Accounts Receivable (AR) processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
2. Drive automation initiatives for invoice generation, collections, and cash application
3. Provide in-depth knowledge and expertise on specific Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
4. Use data mining to identify shortcomings in our O2C processes
5. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the health of AR processes
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, IT, Sales) to streamline AR workflows
7. Conduct root cause analysis for discrepancies and proposing corrective measures
8. Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and local regulation
9. Deliver O2C process related trainings
10. Assist in the documentation and standardization of AR processes across global teams
11. Act as a subject matter expert to support AR-related system implementations and upgrades
12. Provide regular updates and reports to leadership regarding AR metrics and process outcome
In this role you will collaborate closely with:
Tool Leads: To align on strategy, ensure seamless system integrations of designed processes, and support tool configuration, testing, and deployment phases.Sales/Ops: To define process requirements and ensure alignment with sales & operations strategies.CBS (I2C): To define process requirements and ensure alignment with finance strategies.SSC / Countries: To ensure that the corporate-wide process standards are also implemented/adapted for SSC/countries.Senior Management: To provide process KPI updates, resolve escalations, and align priorities with organisational goals.
Your Profile
13. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field or an
14. 5+ years of experience in Accounting or 3+ years Order-to-Cash, or related finance process management function, ideally 7+ years of experience in Finance or IT
15. Accounting Certification (CPA, ACCA or similar), any project management certification is a strong advantage
16. Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and AR process tools (e.g. high radius, esker, blackline), experience with automation tools (e.g., RPA, AI) in AR processes is a plus
17. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with Strong attention to detail with a results-oriented mindset
18. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with global teams
19. Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus
