About this Role
Minimum qualifications(5+ years):
* Proven experience in designing, running and troubleshooting large scale systems operating in multiple regions
o with relational databases(must)
o with Kubernetes (must)
* Proven experience in automation and configuration management
* Strong familiarity with Linux/Unix based systems
* Hands on experience with one of the Cloud Platforms : GCP, Azure, AWS
* Good understanding of Network Design and principles
o TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP(S), LoadBalancing, WAF, Edge caching
* Previous experience in an operations or engineering role
* Coding experience in one of the languages: Go(preferred) or Rust or Python. Experience with shell scripting
Key Tasks and Deliverables
Key responsibilities:
* Develop, improve and maintain Ory Cloud Infrastructure:
o Tooling and automation for operation processes such as cluster management, application deployment, DNS management, Load balancer management, real-time traffic management etc.
o CI/CD pipelines including the release
o Internal, technical documentation for infrastructure and operations
o Internal observability tooling
o Security tooling
o Tests (performance, stability, regression, end to end)
* Contribute to improving infrastructure reliability, availability, scalability and security
* Contribute to our Ory Network and Ory Enterprise Products
* Participate in on-call rotations (shifts)
* Participate in incident management processes
o Contribute to identifying root causes and implementing fixes
* Foster the DevOps principles and practices, promote the DevOps approach among other engineers and team members
* Contribute to our Open Source projects and our team's Software Development Life Cycle
