Our direct automotive customer is in the process of becoming independent as part of a larger organizational transformation. The customer has established internal Legal & Compliance department as well as an Internal Audit function. To strengthen this framework, the customer is looking for external freelance experts in special investigations, who can support on a project basis, particularly in complex or high-risk cases.

Tasks
* Lead and/or support internal investigations into misconduct, fraud, corruption, harassment, or violations of company policies
* Collect and analyze evidence, including conducting witness interviews and reviewing documents, ensuring impartiality and confidentiality throughout
* Prepare investigation reports with findings, conclusions, and recommended corrective actions
* Collaborate with internal Legal and Compliance teams to assess risks and develop mitigation strategies
* Support policy development and refinement where required
* Ensure all work complies with legal and regulatory standards as well as company policies
Requirements
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Criminal Justice, Business Ethics or a related field (knowledge of Labor Law is a plus)
* 5+ years of professional experience in internal investigations, compliance, or legal roles
* Experience in the manufacturing industry (preferably automotive) is a strong advantage
* Strong analytical skills, interviewing expertise, and excellent report-writing abilities
* High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism in handling sensitive matters
* Familiarity with international compliance standards such as FCPA, GDPR, whistleblower protections
