The professorship deals with the planning and analysis of processes in the health sector. The modeling, analysis, and optimization of questions related to Healthcare Management Science using quantitative methods of Operations Research, Management Science, and Analytics is at the forefront of our scientific activity. We seek:
In the Faculty III: School of Economic Disciplines, Management Science, we are looking for a researcher as of the 01.01.2026 at the following conditions:
1. 100% = 39,83 hours
2. Pay grade 13 TV-L
3. limited for a period of 4 years
Your tasks:
4. Independent research in the field of Management Science and/or Analytics with a focus on health
5. Support in research, teaching, and transfer
6. Support in the acquisition and implementation of third-party funded projects
7. Support in the development of the Health Management & Analytics profile area
8. Active participation in the administrative tasks of the professorship
9. Teaching German and English-language courses in Bachelor's and Master's programs
10. Supervision and examination of students
11. Teaching duties: initially 4 semester hours per week
Your profile:
12. A university degree (Master's or equivalent) in business with a quantitative focus
13. A doctorate in operations research, management science, or analytics
14. Teaching experience in German and English
15. Experience with international collaborations
16. Multiple international publications in peer-reviewed journals within the department
17. Interest in interdisciplinary collaboration in the field of health
18. Excellent command of written and spoken English
19. Desired: German language skills
