About us
Education is our future, the future of our city!
With around 25,000 employees, the Ministry of Schools and Vocational Training (BSB) provides state school education for Hamburg's schoolchildren. Around 250,000 pupils attend state schools every day to acquire the skills they need to successfully participate in the world of work and in society.
Our Digitalization, IT and Transformation (VD) department consists of over 100 dedicated colleagues. We come from a wide range of professional backgrounds. We are united by the common goal of doing the right thing: shaping education in the beautiful city of Hamburg and thereby reaching over 500,000 people in the city with digitalization. In this context, we work closely with all BSB departments, almost 400 schools as well as other (specialist) authorities and non-school stakeholders.
Would you like to support digitalization with your expertise as a requirement engineer?
