For our site in Geilenkirchen (close to Aachen) we are looking for an
Instructor Flight Engineer E-3A (f/m/d)
As IFE, the following tasks are key for the role:
1. Operate the Flight Simulator Training Devices (FSTD's) and associated systems
2. Provide the expertise to contribute for an effective and efficient use of the FSTD's capabilities and support military instructors to achieve this goal
3. Instruct Students in checklist procedure and basic system knowledge in the FSTD's.
4. Provide the full range in simulator scenario training aircrew members during all phases of training
5. Conduct theoretical and practical training and augment Customer Training Organization as required
6. Lead training and scenario development and review
7. Instruct basic system knowledge, normal and emergency procedure training and student instructor familiarization training
8. Support in planning, guiding and execution of simulated events, support distributed Simulator trainings
9. Provide briefing and debriefing to trainee and lead the scheduling activities
10. Maintain and update all required technical and operational publications and data provided by customer
11. Contribute to further development of training program
12. Provide demonstration during visits
13. Provide and track data for training, training events, students performance and generic statistics
14. Support the On-Site Manager as required
15. Carry out additional tasks under direction
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
16. A recent, thorough working knowledge of FE responsibilities and duties related to wide body jet aircraft.
17. A minimum of three (3) years and 1,000 flying hours experience as a Flight Engineer in the E-3, E-8 and/or Boeing 707.
18. A minimum of one (1) year experience as an instructor Flight Engineer on E-3 and/or, E-8 aircraft.
19. Eligibility is restricted to citizens of NATO member states.
20. Eligible for NATO Security Clearance
21. Excellent organization skills, including a sense of accuracy
22. Strong communication skills across versatile customer groups
23. Hands-on, pragmatic, and service-orientated
24. Fluency in English
