Job Description
We are on the lookout for a Data Engineer to join the Logistics Data Engineering team on our journey to delivery state of the art data pipelines.
The Logistics Data Engineering team is leading the Data Landscape in the Delivery Hero. We are in constant innovation, improving our pipelines and empowering our teams to make faster decisions that has direct business impact. Our team handles are broad Tech Stack, which makes it both a challenge and unique learning opportunity. We impact the three main pillars in Logistics: Rider, Customer and Service, and our current biggest challenge is to bring real time data to all of them. We focus on creating frameworks that empower other teams, making our work always scalable and challenging.
Your mission:
* You will own data ingestion framework to move data from A to B.
* You build analytical frameworks to empower Analytics and improve their efficiency.
* You build data ingestion pipelines that impact business critical KPIs.
* You work with stakeholders to identify business needs, translate them into actionable items and lead the implementation in the ecosystem.
* You proactively look for opportunities to improve stability, reduce cost and increase stakeholder satisfaction and engagement.
* You are a driver of best engineering practices, observability and data quality practices.
Qualifications
* You gained at least 5+ years of professional experience in software development or Data Engineering.
* You have a Bachelor’s degree in business, mathematics, engineering, science.
* Strong knowledge in Python, Orchestration system and Cloud providers.
* You have solid data streaming skills (Kafka, Flink).
* You have solid data manipulation skills.
* You are highly passionate about data, with creative problem-solving abilities and an eye for detail
* You are a team player, enjoy being outside your comfort zone and love to think outside the box
