Role Summary:
As an Executive, Internal & Crisis Communications Specialist (m/w/d), you will lead strategic initiatives to strengthen Hyundai Motor Europe’s internal engagement, executive visibility, and crisis communication readiness. The Executive and Internal Communications Senior Specialist will drive impactful, consistent messaging that reflects Hyundai’s brand values and supports business objectives across Europe. Reporting to the Head of Corporate & Brand PR, you will shape communication strategies, advise senior leaders, and elevate Hyundai’s voice both internally and externally.
We want you to:
* Position Hyundai Motor Europe’s executives as influential voices through curated messaging, internal events, town halls, videos, interviews, and speakerships.
* Develop and deliver communication plans, speeches, and thought leadership content that enhance executive visibility internally and externally.
* Lead message alignment and media positioning for the CEO, collaborating closely with the CEO Office and supporting key events.
* Drive meaningful internal engagement across European markets via town halls, newsletters, strategy days, and employee platforms.
* Build and manage both online and offline communities that strengthen Hyundai’s internal brand in partnership with HR and all departments.
* Expand and scale the employee ambassador program to highlight authentic stories and broaden Hyundai’s internal and external reach.
* Serve as a trusted advisor during crises or sensitive issues, ensuring clarity and consistency while safeguarding Hyundai’s brand.
* Enhance crisis preparedness through protocols, playbooks, and rapid-response messaging frameworks.
About you:
* Hold a master’s degree in communications/PR (or equivalent), with 8+ years’ experience in internal and/or executive communications.
* Bring strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate complex communication initiatives and deliver high-quality outputs.
* Demonstrate entrepreneurial drive and proactive achievement orientation, elevating engagement and executive visibility.
* Possess analytical thinking skills to interpret stakeholder needs and solve complex communication challenges.
* Innovate with fresh formats, channels, and digital tools to keep communications impactful and engaging.
* Adapt quickly to changing priorities and champion continuous improvement in communications processes.
* Build strong relationships, influence stakeholders at all levels, and communicate confidently with senior leadership.
* Bring excellent English skills, strong editorial capabilities, deep digital platform knowledge, and the ability to craft inspiring, audience-centric messages.
