An exciting opportunity for an experienced Investment Manager to join a fast-growing European BESS platform, shaping the energy transition and supporting the development of the renewable grid of the future.
In this role, you will drive investment decisions by structuring and analyzing investment cases for BESS projects across Germany and Europe.
The position is based in Berlin, Germany, with hybrid working flexibility.
Responsibilities:
Structure and model investment cases for BESS projects and acquisitions in Germany and Europe
Coordinate equity and debt financing, including project finance arrangements.
Lead financial due diligence and support technical, legal, and commercial reviews.
Prepare and present investment recommendations to senior management and investors.
Identify and mitigate risks while unlocking new investment opportunities.
Monitor project performance and optimize portfolio returns.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, technical, and legal departments.
Requirements:
Proven experience in project finance, infrastructure, or energy investments, preferably in renewables or infrastructure.
Deep understanding of equity and debt financing structures and project finance mechanisms.
Strong financial modeling skills, including IRR, NPV, and DSCR analysis.
Familiarity with M&A processes, including valuation, due diligence, and deal structuring
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with investors, lenders, and internal teams
Bilingual in German and fluent in English
Willingness to travel across Europe as required
