We also are renowned for our robust community outreach courses and international travel to third world countries to provide dental care. Oregon Tech offers both tenure-track and non-tenure track employment options that include opportunities for creative work within the college and with industry partners. Position Summary The Oregon Tech Dental Hygiene program and clinic, located in Chemeketa Community College, provides dental hygiene and limited restorative services to the general public and educates our students to become primary healthcare providers.
The Administrative Program Specialist (APS) position supports approximately 60 dental hygiene students and 20 employees, and is responsible for supporting the day to day operations of the program and clinic. Minimum Requirements Two years of experience as an administrative specialist or executive support specialist which included administrative support for a project, program, or operation. Administrative support includes those duties beyond clerical/secretarial such as: interpretation of laws, rules, and regulations; administrative data collection and analysis; and evaluation of projects, processes, and operations; OR
An equivalent combination of training and experience.
One year of post-secondary education may be substituted for up to one year of the experience. Additional Requirements
