We're looking for an Event Manager based in Bremen or Hanover to lead a calendar that spans scientific conferences, partner and business summits, town halls, programme launches, press events, student life and campus celebrations, graduations, and executive convenings across the Constructor ecosystem .

We're looking for an Event Manager based in Bremen or Hanover to take ownership of a calendar that spans scientific conferences, partner and business summits, town halls, product and programme launches, press events, student life and campus celebrations, graduations, and executive convenings.
You'll be the operational and creative lead for online, offline, and hybrid events serving students, faculty, staff, prospects, partners, media, and the broader Constructor community. The role reports to the Head of PR & Events and works closely with marketing, academic leadership, and executive teams across multiple countries and time zones.
This is a hands-on role in a fast-moving environment. Event strategy and planning. Translate the annual event plan into concrete proposals — formats, agendas, venues, vendors, staffing, budgets, timelines, and success metrics. Build event concepts that fit the audience, whether that's a scientific symposium, a partner roundtable, a student festival, or an all-hands.
Run events on the ground in Bremen and travel to support events elsewhere in Germany, Switzerland, and internationally. Partner with marketing and PR on event promotion, content, and media engagement. Work with academic departments on conference and university events, with executives on town halls and partner-facing events, and with student affairs on campus and student-led events.
Define KPIs for each event, track attendance and engagement, gather feedback, and report results. Bring new ideas — formats, themes, partnerships, production approaches — and turn them into events that stand out.
Several years of hands-on event management experience across multiple event types — ideally including both corporate/business events and academic, scientific, or university events.
Strong project management skills : comfortable running 5+ events in parallel at different stages, with tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
Solid operational knowledge of event logistics — venue and space planning, AV and production, signage and branding, catering, accommodation, and speaker coordination.
A confident negotiator with vendors and suppliers, with a track record of delivering high-quality events on budget.
Excellent people skills — you'll interact daily with senior executives, professors, students, partners, journalists, and external suppliers, and you make all of them feel well looked after.
Comfortable working in an international , multi-entity environment across time zones with colleagues and partners in Europe, Latin America, and beyond.
Self-directed and resourceful — we don't hand you a playbook; Fluency in English is required ; German is strongly preferred (at least B2), given the Bremen base.
Willingness to travel internationally up to 30% and to work occasional evenings and weekends around event dates.
Experience producing executive-level events, board meetings, partner summits, and press conferences.
Familiarity with event tech stack registration platforms, hybrid streaming, and CRM integration.
Experience in pitching and placing event-related content with media outlets.
A central role in a growing international ecosystem connecting education, research, and technology.
Direct exposure to senior leadership, world-class academics, and international partners.
