For our Business Unit Zinc in Mannheim, we are looking for a dedicated individual to join as soon as possible: Technical Expert (m/f/d) Your Tasks: You provide expert technical advice to our customers in the zinc sector and assist them with application support and troubleshooting. You train internal teams to expand their knowledge in the zinc field. You conduct market and competitor analyses and participate in trade fairs and industry events to stay up-to-date. You support the development and implementation of new products in the zinc segment in close collaboration with Research & Development. You analyze and optimize production processes related to zinc products to improve efficiency and quality. You work closely with internal departments, external partners, and suppliers to ensure smooth collaboration. You ensure compliance with quality and safety standards across all areas. You provide technical leadership and further development of the BU Zinc division. You create and maintain documentation to ensure clear and traceable information. Your Profile: You have a degree in Chemistry, Process Engineering, or a comparable qualification. You have several years of professional experience in a chemical environment, ideally with a focus on zinc, metals, or similar alloys. You possess a technical understanding of processes, product development, and process optimization. You are characterized by strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking. You have negotiation skills and can present yourself convincingly. Excellent written and spoken English skills are a given for you; additional foreign language skills are an advantage. You bring a high level of initiative, communication skills, and a sense of responsibility.
