Your mission in space engineering: Take on a pivotal role as a Manufacturing Engineer (m/f/d) and help bring cutting-edge European and international launch vehicles to life.
Key responsibilities
* Act as the bridge between engineering, production, and supply chain in the product development lifecycle
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, work preparation, metrology, NC programming, production development, procurement, and quality assurance
* Ensure production-ready, cost-efficient designs through feasibility assessments and improvement proposals
* Contribute to financial planning (RC/NRC) for manufacturing expenditures
* Help evolve and refine internal processes
* Oversee manufacturability and testability of new projects across in-house and external production chains
* Lead manufacturing process development in technical projects and liaise with project and systems engineering teams
* Align construction documentation with internal and supply chain standards
* Ensure compliance with all construction standards and customer-specific requirements
Your profile
* Degree in production, mechanical, or aerospace engineering (or equivalent professional qualifications with relevant experience)
* Strong development and design background-ideally within aerospace
* Experience with aerospace-grade manufacturing and testing technologies
* Proficiency in CAD (NX, Catia), PLM, and SAP systems
* Excellent written and spoken English
* Team-oriented with strong facilitation and coordination skills
* Independent and structured approach to project work
