The role supports and manages Voith\'s major GBS (Global Business Services) controlling consolidation project, consolidating, optimizing, automating or transitioning controlling activities to the best cost country hub in India or Eastern Europe.
Your tasks
* Lead the global controlling function in GBS, including monthly closings and a reporting factory, ensuring accurate and timely consolidation of financial data and reports.
* Lead the consolidation of transactional controlling activities of Voith into the GBS, including re-allocation of activities to drive standardization.
* Drive structural and operational harmonization of Voith\'s controlling processes and align with the Head of GBS Finance and Voith\'s Global Process Owner Controlling.
* Ensure tasks (inputs, activities, outputs) are well documented.
* Drive strategic development and business partnering, and optimize controlling through task specialization, digitization, and automation, including setup of a reporting factory with self-service reports.
* Support the shift of activities to the best cost country hub in Eastern Europe or India; some travel may be required to support colleagues on the ground (e.g., training).
* Report directly to the Head of GBS Finance with regular updates on progress and challenges.
Your profile
* Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master\'s degree is preferred.
* 10+ years of proven operational leadership experience in controlling and leading teams.
* Experience with digitization and automation of financial processes is a must.
* Strong project management and leadership skills; fluent in English; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and strong analytical/problem-solving abilities.
