Purpose: This position will assist and assign resources in the analysis, mapping, transformation, and validation of data extracted from various Army legacy systems for loading the SAP material master and equipment master for the Global Combat Support System u2013 Army (GCSS-Army) solution in order to achieve client expected business results. Will execute functional management duties in the assignment of a small to medium size team of functional resources to work tasks and job assignments in support of the overall effort and specifically, the specialized job tasks required to support the phase 1 and phase 2 transition processes to meet the fielding schedule. In addition, the position holder is expected to have detailed knowledge of a Supply / Material Management areas of the GCSS-Army solution and to be able to act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in support of the transition process and follow on operations in that area to include providing the necessary training to personnel. Positions Reporting to this Function : None Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1) Develops and maintains functional enhanced training materials for GCSS-A ERP systems in support of business objectives. 2) Teaches new and enhanced functional training to employees on multiple programs. 3) Liaison closely with RIA, ASC, Enterprise Logistics Integration Directorate correct 4) Conducts systems analysis and data validation of GCSS-A supply/material management processes and data integrity utilized in performance of work. 5) Assists in development of performance improvements and skill enhanced training to GCSS-A users. 6) Perform data mining and data analysis of process procedures and help desk ticket requests. 7) Ensure personnel are operating management functions correctly as per the operating systems capability and facilitate requirements development for systems changes 8) Shall provide One-on-one training for specific ERP users. 9) Provides Over-The-Shoulder-Support (OTSS) to the end users. 10) Assist end users in identifying and resolving functionality and training deltas/gaps. 11) Continuously seeks opportunities to improve training processes, discover issues and deliver better value to customers. 12) Must be able to travel to OCONUS locations to include combat areas and locations of high-risk environment. 13) Knowledge on how to forecast, procure, receive, account, distribute, and dispose Government equipment using Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A) 14) Performs other related duties as assigned or directed. Required Education: A bachelor's degree plus 3 years of recent specialized experience, OR; An associate's degree plus 7 years of recent specialized experience, OR; A major certification plus 7 years of recent specialized experience, OR; 11 years of recent specialized experience. Desired Qualification & Experience Requirements: 1) Bacheloru2019s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, certification and experience in the field of logistics information systems, training and development or comparable certification is required. 2) Shall have Logistics and ALIS expertise with regard to effectively identifying and adapting functional business requirements and processes to the technical SALE ERP solutions. 3) Shall have participated in an ERP deployment. 4) 5 yearsu2019 experience in GCSS-A (required). 5) Work experience may be substituted for educational requirements and/or educational achievements may be substituted for years of experience. Example: Two (2) years of experience is equivalent to (2) years of college and vice versa. Preferred: 1) 2 yearsu2019 experience in LMP, AWRDS Specialized knowledge and skills: 1) Shall apply in-depth knowledge of SALE ERP products, associated applications, and interface technologies. Shall utilize technical expertise to assess the operation and/or baseline of an organization as specifically associated with its functional components, working with information technology and functional area personnel. 2) Shall possess knowledge of Army logistics regulations, legacy, and ALIS such as but not limited to Standard Army Retail Supply System (SARSS), War Reserve Functional Requirements-Army War Reserve Deployment System (AWRDS), Property Book Unit Supply Enhanced (PBUSE), Standard Army Maintenance System-Enhanced/Installation Enhanced (SAMS-E/IE), Unit Level Logistics System (ULLS), Logistics Information Warehouse (LIW), Logistics Modernization Program (LMP), Standard Depot Systems (SDS) & Commodity Command Standard System (CCSS), Army Enterprise Systems Integration Program (AESIP), and SALE related directives. 3) Solid experience in end user training and train-the-trainer methodology. 4) Experience designing, executing and hosting classroom and one-on-training sessions. 5) Experience with generating training, support, and process documentation. 6) Must be well organized, detail oriented and able to prioritize numerous tasks in a high-pressure environment. 7) Highly motivated, self-starting, and a willingness to accept new challenges while work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. 8) Excellent team and communication skills. 9) An ability to take initiative and work with limited direction. 10) An ability to influence across a broader organization. 11) Must be personable and have very strong written and oral communication skills, including technical writing skills. Additional Requirements: LICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS: 1) Certification & License: GCCS - ARMY certification (required), AWRDS and LMP Certification (preferred) 2) Required upon hire: possession of a valid Driveru2019s License. May be required to deploy on missions on short notice at the direction of the PMO. Ability to perform job duties efficiently and effectively up to a 48-hour work week.
