Commercial Director Role
We are seeking an accomplished Commercial Director to spearhead our Mass Retail Channel strategy in Germany. As a key member of our sales leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional results and shaping the future of our business.
About the Job

You will be working closely with cross-functional teams to drive growth, improve profitability, and build strong relationships with top retailer partners.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute differentiated strategies for each retailer, aligned with broader commercial goals.
* Lead, coach, and develop a team of National Account Managers and Key Account Executives.
* Own the sales forecast, gross margins, trade spends, promotional budgets, and revenue targets per customer.
* Negotiate annual agreements with local and regional customers, including buying groups.
* Build strong, trust-based partnerships with top retailer partners.
* Contribute to wider Germany sales success as a key member of the leadership team, undertaking wider leadership projects and deputizing for the Senior Sales Director as required.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* An outstanding track record of success in sales, with a minimum of 8-10 years' experience at senior leadership level.
* Strong negotiation skills, with a proven ability to win listings, manage trade spends, and grow market share.
* Demonstrated success in both strategic planning and perfect execution.
* Proven experience in people development, with a talent for coaching and mentoring high-performing teams.
* International experience will be an advantage.
