Your Responsibilities
The Fleet Director holds overall responsibility for the operational and strategic management of the company division. Key objectives include:
1. Implementing the strategic direction and achieving targets as defined in the Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
2. Ensuring compliance with all relevant national and international regulations and certifications (e.g. ISO 9001/14001)
3. Efficient and high-quality management of the assigned vessels and teams, including continuous improvement of processes and customer satisfaction
4. Building, maintaining, and developing sustainable customer relationships
5. Overseeing and managing daily business operations
6. Leading and developing teams
7. Ensuring company certification and compliance
8. Promoting quality and process optimisation
9. Representing the company to clients, partners and service providers
Your profile
10. Degree in a technical or business discipline
11. At least 10 years of leadership experience in the maritime sector including technical ship management with a solid understanding of third-party ship management requirements
12. Proven leadership and people management capability in complex operational environments
13. High self-motivation and clear result orientation
14. Excellent communication, persuasion and presentation skills
15. Innovative spirit, willingness to embrace change, and hands-on mentality
16. Strong customer focus and service mindset
17. Strategic perspective with the ability to make decisions under pressure
18. Inspiring teams and driving change, visible and present as a leader
