Tasks
* Lead operational excellence: Manage and optimize daily transport operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and timely service delivery.
* Strategic decision-making: Develop and implement strategic plans to address logistical challenges and enhance overall performance.
* Cross-department collaboration: Act as a central link between management, fleet, dispatch, and departments such as sales and finance.
* Effective communication: Foster open and transparent communication across teams, clients, and business partners.
* Team leadership and development: Coach, mentor, and empower team members to achieve professional growth and deliver high performance.
* Process improvement and digitalization: Initiate and lead projects focused on simplifying and digitalizing workflows to improve operational efficiency.
Requirements
* Minimum 3 years of operational or sales experience in the transportation sector or experience in a similar managerial position within a logistics or transport company.
* Strong leadership and people management skills.
* Strategic and analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Fluent English and German are required.
* Openness and willingness to learn.
* Drive for continuous development and improvement.
* Knowledge of the container transport business will be considered an advantage.
* Knowledge of Russian will be an asset.
