Role Summary We are looking for a People Analytics Partner to help us build clarity, insight, and decision quality across the employee lifecycle. This role sits at the intersection of People, Business, and Leadership and turns data into meaningful narratives that inform strategy, not just reports. You will design, analyze, and continuously improve People metrics across hiring, engagement, performance, retention, compensation, and organizational health. Beyond dashboards, your work will shape leadership decisions, enable experimentation, and strengthen how we scale responsibly. This is a hands-on role with close collaboration with People, Finance, and IT. What You Will Do In The Role People Data & Insights Design and own core People metrics and KPIs across the full employee lifecycle Analyze trends in hiring, attrition, engagement, performance, diversity, and workforce planning Translate complex datasets into clear insights, recommendations, and decision-ready narratives Support leadership with ad-hoc analyses, scenario modeling, and evidence-based guidance Reporting & Analytics Infrastructure Build and maintain scalable dashboards and recurring reports for People and leadership teams Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across HR systems and connected tools Partner with IT and Finance on integrations, data flows, and reporting standards Continuously improve analytics maturity, moving from descriptive to predictive insights over time Experimentation & Impact Enable People experiments by defining success metrics and evaluation frameworks Measure the impact of leadership programs, performance cycles, and organizational changes Support compensation, headcount, and workforce planning with robust data models Challenge assumptions with data while staying grounded in human context What We Would Love To See You Bring Experience & Skills 5+ years of experience in People Analytics, HR Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a similar role Strong understanding of HR systems architecture, data flows, integrations, and data modeling to ensure scalable, high-quality analytics foundations Confidence working with HR systems (e.g. HRIS, ATS, performance or engagement tools) Experience translating data into insights for non-technical stakeholders Solid understanding of People processes and the employee lifecycle Tools & Methods Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills Experience with BI tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar) Working knowledge of SQL or strong willingness to learn Familiarity with data privacy, GDPR, and ethical data handling Mindset & Collaboration Curious, structured, and impact-driven Comfortable navigating ambiguity and evolving requirements Strong storytelling skills with a business-oriented perspective High sense of ownership and accountability Nice to Have Experience in scaling organizations or fast-growth environments Exposure to compensation analytics, workforce planning, or organizational design Experience with experimentation frameworks or hypothesis-driven analytics Practical experience applying AI or advanced automation in an operational context (HR experience strongly preferred) Background in statistics, psychology, economics, or data science Why Join Us Build People Analytics from substance, not vanity metrics Shape how People data informs strategy, culture, and growth Operate in an environment that values experimentation, learning, and trust Focused Energy is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating an inclusive environment.
