Contribute to Collins Customer and Quality Excellence by acting as a focal point for all quality questions across a program’s lifecycle! In this role you will work with a high degree of autonomy on a broad range of interesting, complex, and varied questions, driving solutions and improvements in close cooperation with Collins Program Management, Engineering, Production, and Procurement functions.
Responsibilities:
1. Focal point for all quality questions across program life cycle
2. Project management of customer-relevant quality assurance activities
3. Ensure implementation of applicable quality requirements from RTX, Collins, customers and regulatory standards for products, processes and systems
4. Internal and external coordination in case of quality deviations and non-conformities, and drive RCCA and problem resolution
5. Prepare, review and release product & process quality (assurance) documents and reports
6. Support internal and external audits
7. Advance quality compliance and improvement
8. Support product and production process changes, work transfers and Continuous Improvement initiatives (LEAN/CORE)
Qualifications:
9. Bachelor´s or Master´s degree in an advanced technical discipline or several years of equivalent professional experience, ideally in the aerospace sector
10. Deep understanding of space-specific quality standards and best practices
11. Knowledge of EEE Quality and Parts Approval procedures is an advantage
12. Very good (business fluent) written and spoken English and German skills
13. Good SAP R/3 and MS Office skills
14. Excellent communication skills with a high degree of persuasiveness, assertiveness, and persistence
15. Ability to deal with complex and difficult situations
16. Independent and goal-oriented way of working in an international environment
17. Willingness to travel (about 10%)
