We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Sales and Key Account Manager to drive growth and manage key client relationships in the German market. This role requires a professional with a strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, as well as experience in managing large/key accounts and developing long-term business relationships.

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned sales professional to join our team and contribute to our company's continued growth and success. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the German market based on our strategic objectives, developing and executing strategic sales plans to expand market presence and increase revenue in our target sectors.

Responsibilities

">

* Manage the German market based on our strategic objectives.
">
* Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand market presence and increase revenue in our target sectors.
">
* Manage and grow relationships with key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, long-term partnerships, and references.
">
* Prioritize accounts and opportunities to produce the best sales and profitability results.
">
* Identify and actively acquire new customers.
">
* Qualify opportunities.
">
* Perform on-site presentations and demonstrations to customers and partners.
">
* Negotiate contracts and close deals in line with company policies.
">
* Follow up with the support from the Application Engineering team, including product trainings to customers.
">
* Prepare regular sales forecasts, activity reports and performance analyses.
">
* Ensure data accuracy in our CRM.
">
* Manage a Business Development Manager, to ensure alignment and achievement of regional goals.
">
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Application Engineering, Marketing, and Product Development to align sales strategies with company objectives.
">
* Plan, organize and implement marketing actions; attend trade shows, exhibitions and conferences, and represent the company at industry events.

Requirements

">

To be successful in this role, you will need:

">

">
* Bachelor's or Master's degree.
">
* Electrical, electronic, energy or chemistry / processing background is preferred.
">
* Further education and experience in Sales & Marketing is a plus.
">
* At least 10 years of experience in a similar position in a SMB, selling CAPEX, ideally Instrumentation/non-destructive testing (NDT) devices.
">
* Experience in Chemical industry is highly desirable, as well as in Petrochemical and Oil & Gas sectors.
">
* Seasoned professional in Sales, Business Development and Key Account management.
">
* Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
">
* People management experience.
">
* Experience in managing large/key accounts and developing long-term business relationships.
">
* Distributor/channel management experience.
">
* Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
">
* Technical knowledge of gas detection technologies, sensors, and industrial safety solutions is a plus.
">
* Good computer skills and experience working with a CRM.
">
* Fluent in English and German (verbal and writing).
">
* Willingness to travel on business (60%).
">
* Driving license.
">
