Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Technical Consultant with deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O). You will lead the design, development, and implementation of technical solutions that support enterprise-grade digital transformation initiatives. This role demands a high level of technical proficiency, problem-solving capability, and the ability to guide and mentor junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of customisations, integrations, and extensions in D365 F&O using X++, C#, and Azure tools.
Take ownership of technical architecture decisions and ensure alignment with solution design and business objectives.
Implement robust integration solutions using OData, REST APIs, Azure Logic Apps, Service Bus, and Power Platform .
Build and optimise data entities, SSRS reports, batch processes, and workflows.
Manage environments, deployments, and release pipelines through LCS and Azure DevOps .
Perform code reviews, enforce coding standards, and drive best practices across the team.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including functional consultants, architects, and business stakeholders, to deliver high-impact solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex performance and scalability issues in production environments.
Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior developers and consultants.
Key Skills & Experience:
5+ years of hands-on experience with Dynamics AX / D365 F&O development .
Strong command of X++, the D365 extension framework, and event-driven architecture .
In-depth understanding of D365 F&O modules, particularly in Finance, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing .
Proficiency in Azure DevOps, LCS, Git, and CI/CD pipeline configuration.
Experience with Power Platform, including Power Automate, Power Apps, and Dataverse, is advantageous.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
Microsoft certification(s) such as MB-500 or Solution Architect Expert is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
