The Huawei's Automotive Electric Control Technology Laboratory develops advanced drivetrain and chassis systems for the next generation of electric vehicles. As an innovation hub at the intersection of research and industry, the lab focuses on creating highly efficient, power-dense, and intelligent mobility solutions. It's work combines cutting-edge simulation, multiphysics modeling, and experimental validation to address challenges in thermal management, structural durability, NVH, and system-level optimization. By integrating novel architectures and control strategies, the Automotive Electric Control Technology Laboratory aims to set new standards for performance, efficiency, and sustainability in future electric mobility.

Your mission
* The mission of this research is to advance the development of next-generation mobility systems through innovative system integration and design strategies.
* This approach has the potential to improve overall efficiency, packaging, and performance while addressing complex thermo-structural and NVH interactions.
* The project aims to deliver a validated high-fidelity multiphysics model of the integrated system, along with strategies for optimizing design, thermal management, and control.
* In addition, the research will develop an intelligent decision-making framework capable of dynamically balancing different operational modes to enhance energy efficiency and overall system performance.
Your areas of expertise
* Master’s degree in thermal or mechanical engineering, physics, or a related field.
* In-depth experience of Multiphysics Modelling : Development of coupled thermal, structural, dynamic, and NVH models using ANSYS, COMSOL, and MATLAB/Simulink.
* Solid understanding of Structural & Durability Analysis : Evaluation of thermo-structural stresses and fatigue under demanding vehicle duty cycles.
* Good understanding of Thermal Management in EV Systems : Analysis of heat transfer and thermal coupling between e-motor, gearbox, and brake under transient and extreme load cases.
* Fluent in written and spoken English and German language would be a plus.
