The Airframe Support Engineer is responsible for providing leadership, technical direction, and support to airframers, customers, and CFM field personnel regarding the operation of LEAP-1A engines.
About the Role
* Acting as the primary point of contact for all customers (Airbus and Airlines) requests (Front Office).
* Interfacing with all levels within customer and company organizations.
* Assessing on-site activities to proactively identify and address potential issues.
* Delivering comprehensive reporting on engine issues and customer requests.
* Supporting investigations, including root cause analysis and troubleshooting, in collaboration with Back Office teams (Engineering, Quality).
* Ensuring thorough documentation by recording all required information in relevant information systems.
* Reviewing, analyzing, and reporting on engine malfunctions and making recommendations to minimize operational disruptions.
Qualifications
Strong oral and written communication skills in english. French and/or German are a plus.
Excellent relationship-building abilities with partners, airframers, and customers.
Team spirit and capacity to work collaboratively.
Ability to deliver formal presentations to internal and external stakeholders, even under high-pressure conditions.
Solid mechanical and technical expertise in engine functioning, assembly, and maintenance documentation.
High flexibility and availability (including shift work and on-call support) to address customer planning requirements.
Demonstrated leadership, reactivity, and organizational skills..
Required Skills
The position will operate on a rotating 3-shift system (Early/Late/Day - no night shift), ensuring continuous coverage.
In addition, on-call support will be required on weekends to address urgent customer needs outside regular working hours.
