Your mission
Join aevoloop, one of Europe’s fast-scaling deep-tech startups, and help build pioneering next-generation plastics. As R&D Grant Manager (f/m/d) you turn cutting-edge R&D into successfully funded research projects.
* Funding Strategy & Scouting: You develop and execute aevoloop’s public funding strategy based on our R&D and corporate roadmap. You identify, evaluate, and prioritize relevant regional, national, and European funding programs and calls.
* Grant Applications & Execution: You lead grant applications end-to-end, from concept development and coordination to submission. You translate complex scientific and technical content into compelling, competitive funding proposals.
* Project & Stakeholder Management: You coordinate internal R&D teams, management, and external partners or consortia. You manage milestones, budgets, and timelines in line with approved funding frameworks and project plans.
* Reporting & Compliance: You ensure transparency and reliability across all funded projects. You are responsible for interim and final reports, audits, and communication with funding bodies, ensuring full compliance at all times.
Your profile
* You hold a degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related natural science field; a PhD is a strong plus.
* You bring hands-on experience in applying for and managing public funding in an academic or corporate R&D environment, ideally in Germany and/or at EU level.
* You have a solid understanding of regional, national, and European funding landscapes and know how to assess strategic fit and feasibility.
* You are an excellent communicator and can turn complex scientific topics into clear, convincing applications, reports, and presentations.
* You work in a structured, reliable, and detail-oriented way and are confident handling budgets, timelines, and compliance requirements.
* You have strong project management skills and enjoy coordinating multiple stakeholders across disciplines.
