Job Title: Project Engineering Leader Rate: Competitive in line with skills / experience Type: Permanent Location: Westfalen Area Our client a global name in the industry currently have an urgent requirement for a Project Engineering Leader to join on a permanent basis. In this role you will take charge of an established team and play a key role in reshaping how project management is done across the business Your Responsibilities: Lead and inspire a team of 10 engineering professionals (with more hires planned), focusing on development, motivation, and performance. Drive delivery of complex technical projects (budgets between €100K – €3M) within strict GMP standards, ensuring timelines, quality, and cost targets are met. Bring structure and strategic thinking to how projects are initiated and executed — you'll be at the forefront of reorganizing and professionalizing project management. Analyze current processes with Lean and Six Sigma tools and implement improvements for operational excellence. Guide qualification processes such as FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ, and PQ. Your Profile: 10 years of project management experience in GMP-regulated industries (pharma, biotech, chemicals, or food), ideally with hands-on knowledge of engineering project lifecycles. 5 years of leadership experience, including managing interdisciplinary teams. Native-level German language proficiency and fluent English. Proven success leading teams through change and pushing through resistance with confidence and clarity. Educational background in pharmaceutical, chemical, biotechnology, or related engineering fields. Interested?
