KG Organization Gas Services Business Unit Central Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Mid-level Professional A Snapshot of Your Day As part of our team, you will be responsible for auxiliary systems for generators in power plants and synchronous condenser applications of customer projects. Almost every day will be different – some days you will be able to focus on your planned tasks. On other days, you will be challenged with operational topics which lead to interaction with internal colleagues, suppliers or customers. Therefore, you will have to shift your priorities at a moment’s notice to support urgent, unplanned work packages, like supporting commissioning tasks or resolving site issues. Either way, you will collaborate with a global cross-organizational team with different technical and cultural backgrounds.How You’ll Make an Impact
1. Being responsible for the complete order execution process of generator auxiliary systems
2. Creating and configuring system P&ID in our engineering suite COMOS including all related meta data and supporting lists, ensuring that the project requirements and customer expectations are fulfilled
3. Closing interaction and cooperation with our colleagues from supply management as well as our external skid suppliers to ensure specification compliance
4. Ensuring “in budget” & “in schedule” order execution from project start to end of warranty period and final inspections at the skid suppliers’ workshop prior to shipment
5. Interacting with internal interface partners like I&C, electrical engineering, piping & layout planning and project management, as well as with external interface partners like EPCs and customers
6. Answering customer letters and support project management in customer clarifications and meetings
What You Bring
7. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the field of process engineering, mechanical engineering, or a comparable discipline
8. Some years of professional experience and good knowledge in at least one of the above-mentioned disciplines
9. Experience in a process industry-related environment ( power generation, oil and gas) is beneficial
10. Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken is required
11. Enjoying developing innovative solutions in interdisciplinary and international teams, as well as understanding customer requirements and developing concepts & solutions
