KG Organization Gas Services Business Unit Solutions Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Experienced Professional A Snapshot of Your Day In your role as a “Customer Trainer(f/m/d) – Electrical and I&C”, you provide project specific familiarization traings to operators and maintenance personnel of new-built power plants worldwide. You ensure customers gain the theoretical and operational expertise of Siemens Energy electrical and I&C related systems and components.You will bridge the gap between theory and practice by first preparing the project specific training manual and then delivering a four- to five-day training course at the customer’s premises. The training integrates a combination of classroom instruction and associated system walk-downs, in line with the erection and commissioning progress of the power plant.Needless to say, you keep up to date with the latest developments and expand your knowledge accordingly.How You’ll Make an Impact
7. Project specific compilation and editing of the electrical and I&C training manual, based upon single line diagrams, system descriptions, component manuals, T3000 Software and engineering documents.
8. Collaboration with other trainers, training centers and project managers for clarification and fine-tuning of training schedules as well as project specific training contents.
9. Coordinate with engineering teams to source the technical documentation required for the training manual preparation.
10. On site performance of the classroom electrical and I&C training and associated system walk-downs on site. Collect signed attendance sheets, feedback questionaries and test papers. Provide training reports for the team afterwards.
11. Cooperation with internal team members, guidance and coordination of external partners and sub-contractors, interacting with customers.
What You Bring
12. Degree in Engineering (Electrical and/ or Automation), preferably with focus on power engineering or longstanding work experience in a similar field
13. Proven experience in commissioning of electrical and automation systems. Familiarity with Siemens Energy equipment in this field is a plus
14. Confident and eloquent presenter, capable of engaging diverse audiences
15. Self-driven, quality-oriented, and a flexible team player with strong intercultural competence
16. A valid Class B driver’s license and willingness to travel (approx. 20%)
17. Fluent in German and English; proficient in MS Office
