Power Grid Technical Manager - Germany or Remote NeuVerge-Tron, a newly established European software company headquartered in Munich, is looking for an experienced Power Grid Technical Manager to lead the development of energy management controllers for utility-scale energy storage power plants. The role is open to candidates across Germany (preferably) or Europe. Key Responsibilities Interpret regional market‑access requirements and national grid codes for energy management controllers; compare differences with existing solutions and formulate corresponding system solutions. Plan software versions for the energy management controller; review and gatekeep designs of control strategies; simulate logic control and algorithms and perform system stability analysis (e.g., RT‑LAB, PSCAD). Design the system (including protection) of the energy management controller and select supporting hardware; write technical documents and user manuals. Participate in platform product research, requirements analysis, and solution writing for the energy management controller. Your Profile Master’s degree or above in Power Electronics, Power Systems, Renewable Energy, Automation, or related majors; 5+ years of experience in R&D, technical solutions, and overall system design in the renewable energy and power industry. Professional proficiency in English. Proficiency in at least one country’s grid‑interconnection requirements; clear understanding of grid codes, grid compliance testing, and key on‑site test plan points. Familiarity with the main functional framework of monitoring and control for EMS; ability to extract EMS requirements from grid codes, testing, and produce functional documentation. Ability to convert standards/specifications into product feature requirements and discuss with product and R&D teams.
