I am partnered with a global market leading manufacturing company that designs and produces specialised equipment for the automotive industry. Their products are well known globally and are used by millions worldwide on a daily basis. With a presence in over 30 countries, they're seeking a Global Commodity Manager in Fleet to join their organisation and be responsible for leasing, maintenance, vehicle fit outs, insurance, fuel, accident management etc.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee and drive the global fleet management category, covering vehicle manufacturers, upfitting, fleet services, leasing, fuel, maintenance, accident management, and insurance.
* Partner closely with internal stakeholders to align category and sustainability strategies with broader business priorities. Build, execute, and refine long-term commodity strategies, while creating a global fleet policy that reflects organizational needs and regional requirements.
* Manage the contracting approach for the category, including negotiation of framework agreements, NDAs, and terms and conditions.
* Oversee supplier lifecycle activities, including prequalification, selection, onboarding, and ongoing development.
* Support the growth of the Global Commodity function through initiatives such as e-procurement tool rollout, continuous improvement, and lean process optimization
Experience Required:
* 5+ years of global indirect procurement experience covering fleet management and the associated categories
* Strong stakeholder management skills
* Bachelors degree
