As Lead Finance Application Manager (m/w/d), you will lead a team of three experts responsible for supporting, maintaining, and continuously improving our finance applications. Acting as the primary link between IT and Finance, you ensure system stability, performance, compliance, and alignment with business needs.
We are looking for a hands-on leader who not only develops the team but also takes ownership of certain Finance IT applications and supports day-to-day operations.
Your Impact
1. Lead, coach, and develop a team of IT Application Managers providing 1st and 2nd level support for Finance applications
2. Ensure stable and efficient operation of finance-related systems (e.g., SAP, Lucanet, TravelPerk, Yokoy, Kendox, Windata) and payment service providers (e.g., Stripe, GoCardless)
3. Oversee incident, problem, change, and release management according to ITIL standards
4. Act as the main IT contact for Finance stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical solutions
5. Drive projects and support digital transformation and automation initiatives within Finance
6. Manage governance and vendor relationships, including contract negotiations and budget control
Dein Profil
7. A degree in Information Technology, Business Informatics, Finance, or a related field
8. At least 5 years of experience in IT application management, ideally with finance systems
9. Proven leadership experience combined with a hands-on mentality
10. Strong understanding of finance processes (accounting, controlling, financial reporting)
11. Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Lucanet), workflow tools (Kendox, Yokoy), and payment systems (Windata, Stripe, GoCardless)
12. Solid knowledge of IT service management frameworks (ITIL)
13. Excellent communication skills, analytical mindset, and a structured working style
14. Fluency in English; German is a plus but not mandatory
